The Eastlake Community Council is sponsoring a community meeting on I-5 noise abatement and efforts to revive the park under I-5 at the North Gateway at Eastlake and Harvard. Three state legislators will be attending: Reps. Frank Chopp, Jamie Pedersen and Judy Cliborn. The issue of noise abatement for the I-5 express lanes will be discussed. North Gateway discussion will focus on reviving the space and possibly using it for parking, for fairs and markets or as a location for a diner or bike repair shop in a trailer.
